1914 Dresses

All three were made by Rachelesworld. She based the designs on real museum pieces. I wish she would make more as I would be first in line to snatch them. My favorite is the black and brown outfit, which has perfect proportions and a great use of color.

My 18th Century Bergere Hats Arrived

Ha! The dolls hats arrived. Yes, 18th century Bergere-style straw hats similar to the Felicity hats AG makes, but more historically accurate. Ridiculously hard to find. I will never reveal where I got these babies. ;) I look forward to decorating them with my mother.

Recycled Movie Costumes

I love this site! It's hilarious, plus the costumes are sumptuous.

Another WWI Rebecca Outfit

I managed to snag another design by Rachelesworld, but this time on Ebay. Drop waists for little girls were very popular in that period.

Green Colonial Gown by Sdls275

No worries, I did not buy this beauty for the $300+ that usually is the going rate for a Sdls275 design!

Notice the lovely stomachers, which come bedecked in tied bows or fabric stripes. The petticoat is actually greener in person. The photos are from the original Ebay auction. I'll have to take my own photos later.
